The TNET200 Network Display Controller provides an affordable and flexible method for delivery of a variety of common content types, to displays, utilizing an Ethernet connection. The TNET200 supports both real-time streaming MPEG4/2/1 from a centralized data source, or localized playback from the TNET200’s integrated hard drive.
The TNET200 allows files to be played back from remote data sources, or from the built in hard disk. Play lists may contain a mixture of remote and local MPEG4/2/1 files, MP3 files, graphics files, URLs, Power Points, flash animation, HTML files, and screen captures from network PC’s. With the optional TNET 210 Encoder, the play list can also include live encoded video sources such as cable TV feeds, DVD sources, or live MPEG2 encoded video from a video camera. I n addition, the play list can contain control functions for the display, such as switching inputs and turning the display on/off.
The TNET200’s embedded web server provides a convenient way to configure and control the unit via a standard Internet browser located anywhere on the network. The TNET 200 can literally be configured and displaying content in minutes.
To manage multiple TNET 200’s, a powerful desktop application called Display Commander™ is included standard. Display Commander™ is a Windows based application that allows the user to manage displays and their scheduled content by groups.
The TNET 200 provides additional scalability and flexibility by providing a system API for developers and therefore allowing control by other systems such as AMX, Creston, or Windows based custom applications.
